NGI TBI organized a 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐋𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩 𝐨𝐧 “PFMS EAT Module with Reference to 𝐒𝐍𝐀 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐍𝐀” on 18th & 19th July, 2024, participants from various states across India, from Gujarat to Kanyakumari took part. The workshop was a resounding success, featuring stimulating discussions, clarifying the issues, and invaluable networking opportunities. Participants as enhanced their understanding of PFMS principles and improved financial efficiency, aligning themselves with the PFMS portal updates. Nehru Group of Institutions Technology Business Incubator along with TNSCST patent facilitation Centre organizes mentoring session on IP & “Writing Proposals for Innovation Voucher Program” on April 30th, for IP aspirants and enthusiasts. Nehru Group of Institutions Technology Business Incubator associated with IFCI Venture Capital Ltd , New Delhi organised a webinar on ” Awareness on funding scheme” on 23-04-2024 around 93+ ,participants had participated across the nation.. NGI TBI organized “NGI HACKATHON 2024” successfully on 16-04-2024, around 204 participants registered and 24 teams shortlisted and participated for the final round from various College’s and Startups from Tamil Nadu and Kerala had participated and showcased their products. Followed by the announcement of the winners of “NGI HACKATHON 2024”. 1st prize was secured by “Circinus Batteries India Private Limited” with 3,00,000 Seed Money Support and 3 years Incubation Support, 2nd prize secured by “Homeradius” with 3 years Incubation Support and 3rd prize was securd by “Hicup Innovation Pvt Ltd” with 2 years Incubation Support. “PishGuard” and”Digimicrope” secured the exemplery position with 1 year Incubation Support. Nehru Group of Institutions Technology Business Incubator (NGI TBI) signed an MoU with Gobi Arts and Science College, Gobichettipalayam, Tamil Nadu, on 25-03-2024. The agreement was received by Prof. Dr. V. Thiagarasu, Principal of Gobi Arts & Science College, in the presence of Thiru M. Dharanidharan, Secretary & Correspondent; Dr. R. Sellappan, Dean/Administrative Officer; Dr. M. Ramalingam, Associate Professor & Head of the Department of AI & DS; Dr. P. Sedhupathy, Assistant Professor, Department of AI & DS; as well as other professors and students. The purpose of the MoU is to support the establishment of an entrepreneurship startup ecosystem on Gobi Arts and Science Campus.

Followed by the announcement of the winners of “NGI IDEATHON 2024”. Students of PPG Institute of Technology won the first pize with cazh prize of Rs 10,000. Students of Nehru Institute of Engineering and Technology won the second prize with caze prize of Rs 5,000 and Students of Kalasalingam Academy of Research and Education with cazh prize Rs 3,000.

The students of Carmel Polytechnic College in Alappuzha were the first prize winners, with a monetary award of Rs. 10,000. Students from JCET won the second place and a monetary prize of Rs. 5,000. Students from NCP secured the third position with cash prize of Rs. 3,000. We would like to extend our congratulations to all the participating teams.
